I think I remember this...

It had to do with having multiple procs (namely weapon procs, spell procs like WoT or Pious Fury, and augs that proc). I seem to remember a post on the old pally boards saying that weapon procs fire off most of the time, followed by spell procs, and finally augs. But if you have 2 augs, 1 aug will proc more than the other, and it may be the case that having 2 augs that do the same thing means nothing since the same effect would be procing.

Can anyone help me out with this? I think this is what the response is trying to say.

There is a priority in which procs are checked, and if one check cycle (swing, round, whatever) generates a proc, no other proc will happen that cycle (one a proc is triggered, the game stops checking for more that cycle).

Samanna, I think you've mis-formated the text a bit. You have bullet points that are also applicable to category 1 that are listed under category 2., or to both:

i.e. Mainhand modifier, individual proc rate modifiers, and warrior auras - I believe these all apply to both categories of procs.

Ok, what I understand 2d to mean is the proc rate modifier on items and spells.

For example, on items:

(summoned cleric hammer = 530)
(55)
(0)

This can be seen on Lucy by going to the Raw link, and finding the Procrate1 field. i.e. Different items proc at different rates. If that's not what the page is talking about, maybe it should be clarified a little - e.g. by mentioning item proc rates in section 1 too, because that's what I understood it to mean.

As for Myrmidon's Aura and Champion's Aura - I thought they were supposed to work on all procs - items as well as buff procs, but I have no parses, and with 1%, 2% modifiers, would have to be pretty large parses to be conclusive. If warriors say they don't improve item proc rate, I'll believe them.
