spent about 15 hours total at the north shore of the lake in the warrens camping this and never saw a single named, has anyone found a camp that gives a reasonable chance of popping named for this gem?

The tree in Rathe popped frequently the times I've been there (Yozan or something like that).

Yah. We camped the hell out of that for the bp as well. If you are far to the North, kind of behind a little ledge is a good safe spot camp. All the statics are PH for the various named. Then we went to Rathe and found the tree guy up and got one instantly for our last of four.
Camped those crystallines a lot more than 15 hours for the other 3...
If I had to do it again, I'd probably try the rathe camp. It's hell to get to, as so many see invis right at the zone in, so I'd probably just stay there once I was in till the BP was done.

I finally got my gem at the rathe camp after giving up on the warrens, much better in there and after 14 hours and pulling both named camps we total about 20 named and got 4 bp gems for people, the knight one handed seemed to be its common drop, it has good graphics too, ..... can just pull the tree ph in that room and work down the hall to the librarian ph's.
If you have a chanter charm a pet in there they dps for 2.5=3k and you can knockout some descent aa's.

I agree that Yo'zan is the best option for a t4 gem. But even that is a major pain in the rear. My regular group camped him for 3 gems. We spent 6 hours on Friday with 5 named and no gems, saturday for 6 hours, 7 named and no gems (!), sunday for 11 hours 9 named and 1 gem, Monday night we lucked out and got 2 gems in about 4 hours. Such a painful camp.
We saw about 13 swords rot during that time and we geared up many a guild's knights with the 1hs.
