Here's a sneak peek at the update for Thursday


*** Highlights ***

- Spells and procs will no longer reset swing timers for any class, PC or NPC.


*** NPC ***

- The NPCs that were made easier in our previous patch will now have their proper consider message.


*** UI ***

- Fix a problem that was causing some custom UIs to crash while drawing buff icons.


*** Miscellaneous ***

- Spells and procs will no longer reset swing timers for any class, PC or NPC.
- Improved an issue that was causing poor performance in outdoor zones.
- Fixed an issue that was causing poor performance when switching between background and foreground modes.


*** Previously Updated ***

- Laiyken should once again allow you in to Crystallos if you're on the proper step of his quest. If you were refused access before, hailing him again should allow you to enter the zone.
- Laiyken will no longer consume your Oil-Covered Crystal if you are not yet at the correct point of his quest.
- The Kirkoten Minders will now update the Combat task given by Fenden Helter for the Brownie Rebels.
- Beltron in Frostcrypt will once again take damage from Banish Shadows procs.

The changes in thsi aptch might seem underwhelming, but if the performance fixes work and if the swing-timer-reset thing is fixed then I think alot of people will be happy. I'm particularly looking forward to the performance fixes, because I've actully noticed the slowdowns alot when 2-3 boxing.

The only zone i've had trouble with is DSH. Which sucks because for my level / gear its the best xp atm. Before patch it's unplayable, boxing or not. Need to get in there so i can start working faction while i level back up!

Heres hoping.

I've only experienced issues with zones at night (in game night time). But during that time it's pretty much like trying to play on a pentium II laptop or some shit.

My guild had that nice Beltron bug go for us. We have yet to kill him on 3 attempts, although the lastest one was bugged. Our best shot was the one before the patch we got him to 7% before adds wiped us. Going to try again tonite now that it's all fixed in all probablility. Was quite fun to just stand there, with procs goin off and he's not taking any dmg. Was like "uhhhhh.......ok, what now???"

Swing timer appeared to be fixed this a.m. 5/18. I am happy.

My 3 boxing performance in DSH has improved as well since the patch. My comp no longer has to play catch up on the other accounts running. Made doing the new tasks a lot quicker and easier.

Before the patch, I had never seen Preincarnation RkII work. It failed 6 or 7 times for me, then I never kept it up. But a couple nights ago, it fired off twice in a row (within 1 minute of each other)... No idea if it is fixed, or just had good luck that time.

So it works in that it saved you or are you saying when you died, the others in the group got the second life proc?
