RedRibbit is a great artist imo.. I love my sig but i too had to large of one so he slimmed it down for me.. as far as animation IMO if Glor doesnt like it then maybe her avatar should come down as well 
As far as the community concerns i think my sig is pleasing and not a distraction at the least. Though i did take the Ad out that she had mentioned.

Ha, I hate animation but since everyone else is doing it and we aren't enforcing an animation rule - the fairy stays. If the rule was no animation, I wouldn't have an animated avatar.
