I think Bethiana has been kidnapped by aliens. Please advise the correct law enforcement agency to resolve ASAP. There is a SERIOUS shortage of backhand humour here, that need Bethiana's immediate assistance.

Come January it'll be a full year without EQ, and I don't miss the game one bit. I miss the people, most definately, which is why I check this board at least twice a week and still frequent a few others; but I think the Prophecy of Ro Beta just finally killed it for me. It made me realize how little influence things like Logic, Parsed Data, Facts and the Players really have when they come up against the egotism of a jizz-tainted anal backwash of a mouthbreather. (Has he died in a mild electrical fire yet, screaming to whatever gods he believes in, only to find his anguished cries of mild perturbance fall upon deaf ears, or do I still have time to ask Santa that he cry like a little girl ... like a little baby girl?)

I started playing WoW again a few months after I stopped EQ, and while it isn't the same, it's laid back enough that I can still enjoy it even if the level of depth and content isn't there yet. (EQ is still true to the idea of being MASSIVE ... but I attribute that to twice-yearly expansion releases.) I got tired of dealing with the same kind of petty, childish guild drama like I used to find in EQ--and despite what some people may think isn't exclusive to EQ--and finally just up and created my own guild by bringing together a bunch of old friends from EQ and new ones I made in WoW. Sadly, because everything in the guild is voted on by the members, <Pities The Fools> did not win the vote for guild name. It was a dark, sad day for me*.

The grass isn't greener, though. I still miss a lot of the people from EQ, and places like the Crucible which actually present valuable game and class information, something you'll almost never find on any WoW Class forums amidst the OMGNERF, LISTEN 2 ME OR ILL REROLL and More PEWPEW Less QQ posts. I'd love to say I won't ever be back to EQ, and this does feel like the last break for me, but I know better than to say things like that If/Until that day comes, I'm still considering myself on extended EQ break.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to write Santa a letter about a mild electrical fire.

P.S.: IAmNotBethianaReally is really not me. Totally. I am the NotNotBethiana and they are the NotBethiana, or are we?
