How to deal with mob stealer / ghost killer ?

Hello,
I was camping a named in Kurn (Istar) with 2 friends (waza: war + merc, biro: chanter + merc, boxed ranger and my shaman). After about 1 hour of cleaning and 3 deaths I saw a group of players (Chumpp from Valiant Crusaders and a few other VC) entering the zone. We pulled golem before named, when we came back in room for named he was not there anymore (but no other mob was missing in the room).
I remember a few months ago I saw also Chumpp coming in Mechanotus just after server restart, he killed 3 or 4 named in a few minutes and left (I was there soloing for tasks).
What can I do against that?
Thanks
Doh

EDIT: I did not say that Chumpp is ghost killer, but at least he is mob stealer. I knew a few chars in VC that were nice, I do not say it is VC's fault

Hoping some other folks will respond with the how to's of reporting cheats. It's a slippery slope once you get on it, but I think it is something that helps the game overall.
Kurns seemed to be a the favored spot for ghost killing cheaters a while back. Not sure about now, as I haven't been there steady in a while. Quite often I would log out in Kurns, then come back the next night. There would typically be one person in Kurns with me, and when I looked down from 7th floor I could see what looks like bats fluttering around. I always suspected this is some kind of ghosting graphic error. Dunno for sure, but as soon as I would /ooc something like 'i see bats' they'd log right out. They at least attempt to hide their cheating. Sounds like your boy is not only cheating, but a prick to boot. (stealing someones named that they have spawned = prick to me).
One thing to note though, I saw a ranger in Kurns tower pull the named from 5h floor to 4th without agroing any mobs and it was a full 5th floor spawn. Something about their harmonic arrow pulling thingy allowed him to do it. I was reasonably certain that he wasn't in any way cheating (he had a whole group waiting for the named) but I don't know how their pulling arrow works so can't comment on it.
Good luck with that. I think they need another purge of the MQ cheaters like they had last year. They seem to be multiplying and gettting cockier it looks.

Harmonious arrow and a few other things (well placed monk plling tool) can bring a single anywhere in kurns.
Basically the mob will not call out for help so no other mobs assist, if he is in an illusion he has aggro on a mob adn can run to bottom floor and pull a mob single the entire way.
Not exactly sure how it works for rangers, but for monks it works like this.
A_____B__C
If you use echo on mob C, mob C and mob B are both mezzed, you cuold hten pull mob A however since you are makign an attack on it it will call for help and if it runs past mobs (other then B and C which are mezzed) they will assist.
If you echo on mob B, it will mez B and C but A will assist B and charge you. You however have done nothing to A so it will not call for help, it is effectively responding to a call for help. So you could drag it all around Kurns, up one flight of stairs down the other side past 100 mobs and it will still be the only thing on you.
Now its not always easy to get mobs at just the right range it is as much an art as a science, but it can be done.
Rangers I THINK just hit A with harmonious arrow and it comes solo the same way I would get it by mezzing B however I am not sure on that as I do not play a ranger. MY understanding is theirs will work in any situation but without having to worry about spacing, but is limited to every 2 minutes.

Whoa. I have done that a lot with my monk Ugh, but never understood the dymanics of it in regards to having a mask. I call it 'bouncing'. I would bounce agro off the echo'd mob but didn't realize how powerful that would be in FOS with mask. That is gonna be kind of funny. Basically anywhwere in FOS theme I can run a named around...

Yep, Chumpp is a monk, he could have done that...

Harmonius Arrow was at least lvl nerfed recently, due to monk outcry.

As I understand it, and I may not fully understand the mechanics, Harmonious Arrow creates an AoE centered around the mob the ranger tags, effectively lulling any mobs within its assistance range. In this way, the ranger can tag one mob in a group of 10... and only the tagged mob comes. A side effect was that the AoE continued to eminate from the tagged mob which would lull any mobs that you ran him past. A ranger could tag a mob on flooor 7 in Kurns and run him to the ZI without aggroing anything.
SoE has either nerfed or will be nerfing the AoE so that it only lulls upon the initial tag. The ranger can still tag a mob out of a crowd, but if he runs it past any social mobs, they will add.
Again, this is my understanding and I may be way off.

Those interested in a good explanation of direct and assist agro mechanics should read this:

When I, in the course of some three weeks or so, had received three different reports of a guildee apparently warping an entire group in to kill a Named then zone fast, I sent a petition and asked SOE to examine his behavior and he hasn't been online since. I don't know if he cheated, but if he did, I hope SOE banned his accounts.
And Harmonious Arrow; I've only recently earned the level to use it, so I'm no expert but yes, it can pull a mob from a cluster - but the lull AE effect doesn't last nearly long enough to pull a walking mob (and they walk, not run, when aggroed like this) anywhere near 7 floors in Kurn's. I guess you could clear a corner or something and pull to there - possibly out of sight of the OP's group? - so there's no proof of foul play in what the OP described. It COULD just be someone a lot better at pulling than I am

A bard with illusion mask and dirge of the sleepwalker could pull him anywhere in the zone, the beauty of the illusion mask if you don't even need to be invis to do an assist pull. Mez the mob next to it with dirge, named comes running, you nowhave 75 seconds to drag him anywhere across any number of mobs without them aggroing.
I was camping at Taath/Pherin in bloodfields one night and saw Naddik pop up on track, theperson camping him had left, so instead of moving my group all the way across the zone I went and got him with a mez assist and ran him all the way to group over the top of every other mob in the zone, its very easy to do this stuff once you understand how assist calls work. Thats one of the most satisfying things about pulling, is when you do something and people in group go "how the hell did you do that?"
