All Sony Online Entertainment services, games, forums and web sites are currently offline. This downtime relates to the recent Playstation Network intrusion. No ETA is available at this time. Here is the notice from Station.com:

Dear valued SOE Customers,

We have had to take the SOE service down temporarily. In the course of our investigation into the intrusion into our systems we have discovered an issue that warrants enough concern for us to take the service down effective immediately. We will provide an update later today (Monday).

During the downtime you are welcome to join us in ZAM's IRC chat. Feldon of EQ2Wire also has set up a ZAM IRC java applet that you can use.

SOE Currently Has 'No ETA' on Game Services


SOE downtime continues as they work to secure information.
UPDATE, 1:30 p.m. EDT: SOE just tweeted, "We're working as hard as we can to get the servers up as soon as possible, but have no ETA at this time."

As we previously reported, all Sony Online Entertainment services, games, forums and web sites went offline this morning as a result of the recent Playstation Network intrusion. SOE issued an announcement which revealed that personal information had been compromised. Players were, for the most part, relieved that credit card information was safe, but wanted to know when they could play their games. The press release only said, "Our teams are working around the clock on this, and services will be restored as soon as possible."


SOE is granting customers 30 days of additional time on their subscriptions, in addition to compensating them one day for each day the system is down.

so this is the steps i have done so far

fraud alert - free 90 days Fraud Alert --
I changed my e-mails password not that it was comprmised just have not changed it forever and forever

Pending - changing sony Everquest pass words for my 4 accts - 3 active 1 inative in the game.
Pending - geting a new credit card but I plan to wait on more day before doign that would loose access to a card I use daily so I need to retive card i can use before nuking this card

In the past 45 minutes, we have had around 8-10 junk e-mails. Seems some might need to contact their e-mail provider and get a new e-mail address.
