When I was going through the bard site http://www.eqdiva.com, I saw this poll that they used to develop their "top 10 poll" basically, it was an offsite voting page than gave you about 30 issues to vote on in order of importance. The options you were given was "No Importance", "very important," "Somewhat important," and weighted them as such. In the end, they could get an average of the feelings from all sides of the community, rather than hashing the "raid issues vs. casual issues" because the active voice of the community decided which issues should carry more weight. The result is that many of them were surprised what their peers valued over other things, and their is now very little dispute about what should/shouldn't be on the list and who had their voices heard and who didn't. What inspired this was the split over whether or not the healing issue is now "dead." We got a poll that asked how we felt about our healing, but now most of us are asking for a group heal, obviously there is not a concensus.
