The problem with upgrading ta in any way always seems to come back to the same basic issue. Mainly that the current dev seems to wish it wasn't there. Myself, I think its an impossible barrier to overcome, but thats just my opinion. The examples given in this thread look like ta would be a large headache to anyone trying to design an encounter.
The tacvi names talked about here for example. I'm not familiar with them, but I wonder. Did the devs even intend for you to magic slow them? Maybe they were intended to be like the old luclin names that weren't flagged unslowable but you had to use disease slow due to extreme magic resist. If you had to slow him without clicks, you just wouldn't. IF that or something like it was the case, it sure would be hard to hold that example up to a dev to show why ta needs improvement. After all, if you could cast infinite sinia and slow on the old evolved burrower, he'd never have been a raid mob. Seru would be another example, but not quite as fitting because he wasn't rooted.
The rs example would be another tough one. 12 adds in camp, do you think the devs intended for one shaman to slow all of them? Its possible, but how many offtanks, healers and enchanters are set to handle these adds. All you need is one shaman with a click stick though.
I suspect ta is just a big a headache for the devs that it is for the players. I'm seriously doubting we'll ever see it upgraded.
