When is it time to move on or up?
I am a prominent member of a small family guild. I have a few higher level toons (65+) but my Shammy is levels 70 with around 200 aa's atm. I have been debating lately on looking to make a move to another guild - most likely raiding. Lately I cannot seem to get any guild groups at all in the last 2+ months. I want to be able to round out my 69+ spells, do MPG Trials, camp in RSS and do some of these missions in DoD as well as see some of these other zones I keep hearing about but frankly, I don't see myself visiting anytime soon. My current guild members like to have a ton of lower level toons and frankly, I have WAY too much fun playing my Shammy and getting pickup groups can take forever and are usually sub-par (Warrior who leveled up to 70 in MM's and has 2 aa's tanking a Creator mission with what seemed like a similarly leveled cleric for example).
The primary factor holding me back though is loyalty to the guild and it's members and frankly a little hesitation because I don't ALWAYS want to raid either...
From those of you that have made this move or contiplated it and not moved one, what are the reasons, the pros and cons etc so that I can ensure I'm not missing anything in my thoughts on this decision... I honestly haven't been able to find any guides or guidelines in to what else you should be considering so I figured I'd ask here as there is a ton of good information that I have garnered over time from this site (and the old Crucible).
