Been a longtime lurker, 4 years or so, but got bored and wondered what other thought on this. Use whatever criteria you want, coolest name, name matches effect, etc. to say What is the best spell name.
For me, I always liked Pox of Bertoxxulous. I think it just sounds bad, I mean if I had to go to the doctor and he told me I had Pox of Bertoxxulous, I think I would crap my pants. I am not as familiar with other classes spell names, although I think necros have some cool names - Devouring Darkness, Funeral Pyre of Kelador, etc and I think druids might have the worst, I mean how much protection can a cabbage provide?
