I play on The Sleeper, a progression server currently in Velious. With the TSS patch, Plane of Hate, Plane of Fear, and the Temple of Cazic Thule got bumped up to their revamped status. We didn't want to take advantage of what we thought was a bug, so we decided to petition...



If revamped Cazic Thule ever spawns in revamped Plane of Fire, be assured it's an intended feature.

I have never sent a petition where I did not receive some nonesense like this back. I talk about a drop in NC and they talked about Veksar for example.

The cat is out of the bag! GM Itasma is really a CS agent from India who has never even played eq before!
I bet if you petitioned that you have won EQ and want to know what to do next, the response would be something along the lines of 'The game is working as intended. After doing Every Quest we the GMs may not be the best person to assist you with.'

Well, with all due respect, the OPs petition is on that screen shot, and it is pretty difficult to figure out what the hell he is talking about. Keep in mind that the CS people are folk doing work, they are not players and they likely don't know all the nuances of terminology that are used or are that familiar with zones and/or mobs. If you petition with a random vague request like the one the OP did, it not surprising you get random vague stuff back. For example, the OP doesnt identify that he is playing on a progression server, so the the CS agent is probably wondering why the hell revamped zones would be a problem. Further, he gives no indication whatsoever what exactly the problem was. What did he expect the CS agent (who isnt a GM btw) to do?

You keep making the point that the person answering the petition was a cs rep, not a gm. I suggest you go back and read the screenshot once more. The second line of the response reads as follows. This is GM Itasma

The title shows up as CS rep, but the responder specifically states that they ARE a GM. Either its a clueless GM as the OP stated or the CS rep is a blatant liar, and you either can't read or selectively read only the parts of the post that will help you turn what is a funny (and yet sad) post into a way to argue with someone just for the sake of arguing.

Umm, for all the pointless arguing here... GMs are CS representatives. They're paid employees of SoE.

The only people who will answer petitions now are paid employees of SoE. That the bulk of these are people in india who've never before played the game is a completely different matter.

Guides on the other hand have their own queue you can submit to with /guidehelp, which uses the old petition tool.
