Just wanted to thank those in positions of influence who got this spell pushed through for this expansion. As a support shaman alt, most of my time on my shaman is spent buffin, slowin, healin, debuffin... and between all that I never really get a chance to DoT or do the old cold nukes or do ToPanther. Being an alt, I don't have an incredible set of gear that allows me to chain-cast these high-mana spells without quickly going oom, and since I'm boxed I really don't have all the time in the world to be mashin buttons on my shaman all the time.

This spell allows me to add a nice bit of DPS in between my normal duties with minimal effort. Whereas before I was doing little to no nuke/DoT DPS, I'm now doing a good supplemental amount of damage. My DoTs never had a chance to finish before the mob was dead, and honestly the mobs would be at 70% by the time I got slow (sometimes Malos) on, so throwing a DoT on was kinda wasteful... it would be dead 20 secs later, I might get 2-3 ticks out of it.

Boxing in Vald yesterday, I did a little parse to see where I was at, and was surprised to see my little shaman alt 3rd behind my monk and the SK tank for overall DPS. He did almost 750k damage in 3 hours or so just chaining Sting. That definitely beats a kick in the nuts.

In my preferences, I'm set to not display any images from signatures. But yours I see. But yours is coded properly, and should be filtered. /boggle

It's the HTTPS ... Since it's an encrypted stream to your browser, the forums never "see" that it's a picture... just a link referencing something on another server
