Great guide there Kumbaja. Had seen it on the SoE board and nice to have it here for easy reference.



That first portal task is fun, if ya like dying a lot and spending a couple hours during exp bonus time, gaining absolutely no exp.

We had a group Sat night all got quest, someone was told you had to kill the mobs on the portal to get the key. Tank runs up to start first one, and 3 others follow and we get 4 mobs, we all die.

So we go back. Next time tank goes up, spawns and tanks his, then others go up one by one, killing each mob. Till the druid runs up, passes the tank, mob chases and by time the tank can turn around druid is dead. NP, we keep killing and rez him, on portal, soon as he pops up from rez a second mob spawns, kills him again. So what do we do ? We rez him yet again well tanking down both mobs, and of course a third one spawns.

After that we learned to pull them back away from the portal to kill them.

Of course in the middle of all this the servers are taken down for patch. 3 of the 6 in group must have lost the no rent keys by the time they logged back in, so when we finally finished they didnt get credit and we had to do it all over again. Least it went a lot quicker the second time around for half the group.

Works ok. May want to point out that is only with all 3 tasks done. Some of those portals don't work till after th 3rd task.

This portal system is rocket science ala EQ.

The exit from the library is always back the way you came.

If you entered from Inner A, you return to Inner A. Etc.

Thank you guys for doing this. This expansion will surely make all shaman rich (gate potions), so it's doubly nice of you to help us little people at least get around in there

Now to figure out why to bother.
