Posted: Tue Mar 06, 2007 8:47 amDamage ticks on mobs that are moving or want to move e.g. such as snared mobs trying to run away / towards you no longer take damage from the damage component of the AE dot. If the dot has other components (e.g. a snare effect) then that will still land. The short version is that for your AE dmg to land, you have to be standing still tanking (or having someone else tank) the mobs with them not trying to run away or even move to another player with higher agro.
