- Reduced the reuse time on Intensity of the Resolute to 6 hours and the duration of the effect to 1 minute.

WTH... what an increadbily useless change (nerf)... Why didnt they just say they nerfed the duration to 1 minute from 5 minutes instead? Most people arent going to be using it for 1 minute every 6 hours , they're still only going to be able ot use it once per day.

You may be right Unmei, but the timing of the nerf after TWO YEARS is just too suspicious to me. I heard very little about Intensity of the Resolute until TBS was released and Solteris was engaged. Then suddenly...NERF!! Coincidence? I think not...

When exactly is to late for you?

I think it is far more likely that over the past several months more and more people have gotten the (I know I qualify for it in October) and the real results of which are now drastically becoming apparent.

I am reminded of the Panther nerf, which was also nerfed because of the sheer amount of dps it increased to the point guilds were beginning to become reliant on it.

Additionally, to those people who rely on Infusion.. Did you ever stop to wonder why peoeple with low resists still die, infusion or no? It's likely because they have resist cap AA, and so max out at 500-550, which frankly doesn't do a whole lot in the face of Check-500 AEs.

Ill go ahead and pull up the threads in a bit, but there were plenty of people on the SOE boards complaining that Solteris Event 1 would be "impossible" without this aa.

The AA needed some look at to begin with, and as it was mentioned before, more and more people are coming up on this Vet AA, and pretty soon you are going to have to start making events around people having it, which no one wants. Because if the event is designed to be done with a Vet AA, then the people who dont have accounts that old cant beat it. It needed to be done, the problem was just highlighted more with Solteris 1 then it had been before.

Well, of the 3 guilds who've beaten this event, at least 2 of them have said that they did it without the 7th AA, because they'd used it on a previous attempt the same evening. It's certainly beatable without the AA in its previous form, but I have no doubt that 5 minutes of 7th would make the event a lot easier. Even 1 minute of the AA at the right point could still make a difference.
