well there is a lot more issues , and it will never be perfect but as a shaman on a player vs player server one of the main issues is how much dmg i can dish out vs another player in some cases
ill give ya a little example : just fought a beastlord 1 on 1 today , he is 13 k unbuffed and well resists about 500 ish / 600 ish , the only thing i was able to do is mana drain him down and dps him slowly , even the heal potions were outhealing my dps wich consisted of ( sting rk 2 and ankhaul rk 3 with rikku focus / panther on time hammer and im max on all dmg increase AA's / crits and such ) guess what the fight lasted exactly 1 hour 32 minutes and noone died i was still sitting high on mana and he was low mana and heal pots were outhealing any dmg quite easely so now tell me if that isnt an issue ! resists always ben broken on pvp but well right now the only dot that land ( after Many casts ) nectar of pain for most ( even new version doesnt land as often ) then compare that to the dps of most melee classes ( also take in account that caster dmg is capped at 40 % dmg , melee as well ) but when a melee can hit you for 6 k x 3 ( rogues with razorarc ) monks going all out on dps with inner flame and such or even for the few who have it a 3 sec cast time 3 slots beneficial dispell ( aka abashi rod of disempowerement ) i dont see how game changing or unbalancing it would be to allow us to use our main dps tools ?

well ya its unbalanced , i can still kill zerkers and any class that cant use heals extensively or that have like 300 ish resists or 400 at most ( takes time anyway ) but any person about anguish gear with like a 2 K heal or such can pretty much outheal the dps i do apart if they run out of potions :p or mana ( mana sieve hammer for that ) myself im up to 262 kills right now in pvp and well i cant say it has ben easy ... as i said the resist on gear goes up but the resist checks on spell dont follow the same ascending curve ...
