Notice also that the augs are nodrop.

So, if the components only drop off high-end raid mobs, which I would guess are nodrop themselves, then only high-end raiders are going to be seeing these augs.

I would have rather preferred to see these augs as tradeable...because of that very "gear chasm" between raiders and non-raiders.

The reason for that is this: when you more or less have to be raid geared just to xp in zones that aren't keyed or flagged, then something is wrong.

Take RSS, for example. Answer me honestly...would you grind in RSS with bazaar-geared warrior or paladin or SK tanking for you? And if you did, wouldn't it make you rather nervous?

I've said it many times before, I'll keep on saying it. Mudflation and the widening chasm between raiders and non-raiders needs to be fixed. When we see our first +500hp piece of raid gear drop, then this game just destroyed itself.

And before you jump all over me, mind you, I AM a raider. So I'm saying this from the side of the "haves," not the side of the "have-nots."

Admittedly, SoE has painted itself into a corner here. They have to provide a reason for the "raider who has it all" to buy and play a new expansion, but also cater to those who maybe only have 6 pieces of nodrop gear, and those because they're attuneable. Now they have to scale zones not only for level, but for gear.

But it's a awkward situation that is their own fault, and no one else's

45 hp & stats on cultural + 50 hp (type 7) + 110 hp & stats (type 11) + 210 hp & stats & mods (type 12) = 415 hp item with better stats, saves & mods and AC than auged Anguish gear has.

That's just wrong if it's available for non raiding folk.

would love that bp for my war now i just looked for war bp since i figured those would have the
highest hp, shaman usable lands at 315hp.

Guess the more hp on gear the nastier mobs will get, look at anarchy online the top hp buff adds 17000hp
and i bet when that one is needed mob hits bit harder then 120

Oh, please let all these augs be all/all like the ones on the screenshots. Going to the EQtraders list of possible focus effects that can be worked into them:

I'm sure these will be for raiders only as all of those focii are at a pretty nice level - but if the augs are all/all, we've finally got a pet focus aug!

(EDIT: right, as of tomorrow I'm going to log on and actually make some no-stat Journeyman's cultural armour - the great thing with pet focus augs is you only need to wear the gear when you summon the beast. The lowest TS'd augs will be 55 HPs apparently and I'm sure they'll cost the earth to start with - the combines are nofail, but tinkering and research are involved in creating the tradable subcomponents.)

Only shame is that the new super augs only have anguish lvl foci on them while there's 60% foci gear in DoD. ( that's only only in case high end raiders can abtain last component and they're nodrop )
