So this is a post-Vanguard Brad McQuaid. It's definitely a labor of Everquest nostalgia. I'm interested but, like a Dead Head sticker on a Cadillac, I'm dubious whether we can ever go back.

If you check out of the alpha gameplay, there's a ton of screen text and even sounds that mimic EQ. Those healing spells sure sound familiar.



I hope he can pull it off. I'll give him money for a challenging, group-focused game again.

I'd love to have time for something like this again, but I don't expect to.

Yet, I'd play a little just for the thrill - even if I never raid again.

I don't expect anything to compare with that first Bloodlink Chestmail, or taking down Tunat'Muram. Or running through LDON after LDON with five melees for 40 HP augs.
