Level 70? Have a crappy range item? Buy one for 5pp.

I suspected these were a bit overpowered for the difficulty of getting them but no one seems to agree. I'm using the level 60 one with 110 HP and have a stack of the 160 HP ones in my bank waiting till I hit 70.

I have made a bunch of these things for my guild bank and the hardest part is getting to the vendor before he runs out of ore. Much like the old days with high quality ore he only has a limited supply. A single stack (20) of ore makes about 500 javelins so it shouldn't be that tight of a supply once the novelty wears off.

I keep meaning to try the restocking quest but always get side-tracked so I don't know if it works for the new ore or not.

It's a tough call. They are indeed pretty easy to make in great volume. However, if you want people to use them in great volume, as range weapons and pulling tools, they need to be affordable for those large quantities. They still have lower stats than the best one groupable range items (out of MPG trials and RSS, for example) and no aug slot, so I don't think the stats are too good, considering.
