AC aug info

Ok, so since my pally twink out does the rest of my family guild in AC I threw up a post on my old guild board with a compilation one group ac aug list. I had also posted it on the pally forums hoping for some feedback, but I didn't get as much as I had hoped. I am posting it here in the hope that some AC crazy shaman will enjoy it, in the hope that someone will enjoy it for their twink tank, and/or in the hope that I can get some feedback to add/subtract items to/from my list. Also, since the spelling Nazis are around, I did spell check everything, but I refuse to fix my run-ons. They add flavor =p

One groupable, mostly 20+ ac aug list! I did swipe most of the info from samanna.net or alla site so i could compile it in one spot.

*If i missed anything please let me know! (i don't have DSK access yet so i am uncertain about the ac augs there and any info i don't already have is helpfull.)

**edit- my list is basically a focus for slot 7/8 augs with some of the better slot 7 or 8 only augs included too. My basic target audiance for this was people moving from slot 7 to 8 gear, and i was trying to keep only the best/better 1 group augs in the list (that is why i was mostly only listing 20+ ac.) if someone would like to organize the info for GoD/ldon/DoN in the same simple way I did the rest of the list, I would gladdly reorganize my list and add them in with you credited for the work. The same goes for avoidance and shielding augs.

Girplan Shardtender camp in the basement. camp in the room north of his spawn in the middle of the room on the east wall. there are 2 roamers that will agro so wait for them, but the camp room is single pullable by any class. the girplan room will have 1 double pull, but other than that it is single pullable as well. named = easy, roamers can make this tough if you don’t' time them.

8 out of 19 slots can be filled with AC augs from RS. They are much easier to get then other augs imo.

the enforcer med is far and away the shield aug. some of these augs are not easy to get, and may take some time but overall you can fill out all slots with augs between RS/MGP/DoD.

Rare dropped from Alex Hutchison. "To spawn Alex Hutchison clear the rectangle hallway between the ballroom and the dinning room where the doorman is. He can pop from any static spot in this hall but is rare as hell, also he's the only named in the zone I've found with 3 drops. He can also pop from the static wolves in the ballroom or mobs in the hallway before the ballroom but unless you have a killer dps group one hallway is enough. Mobs are non aggro but they all assist and roamers repop faster than static so bring a solid group(puller/cc helps a lot)." Also, "Doorman will assist mobs." I am not going to bother with this expansion since most of the augs are only 20 ac, slot 8, lore and a pain in the ass to get... these augs are imo harder to get than going through the dod missions, and you don’t' get as much out of them due to slot. there is one exception. there is a 30 ac aug that is dropped from the primals which are all 1-2 groupable now (it is lore, but 30 ac is hard to come by.)

kith MM. I guess the mission is given by a zombie braineater by RV. mission is called zombie invasion. "The mission starts in the NW corner of Kithcor and turns your group into zombies; the task, kill halflings and eat their brains. Each brain can be used as a heal or to create pet zombies (in A Zombie's Guide to Procreation )." "If you have a full group and focus on keeping one person full of zombies and healed that you can finish well within the time frame" ("60 mins to get your 80 brains.") "Save the druid (farm) area until you have a bunch of zombies though." "The reason for this: The field is surrounded by some fence - not very high by any means. But if you agro something in the field and is standing too far, the halflings won't warp over the fence, and in order to reach you, they will run through the house, agroing everything on the way. Keeping this in mind, it should be a tad easier to avoid the trains there."

6. Kill Commander Muglom

8. head back to zone in spot"
tip to avoid roaming giants-"Once you can make your way into the fort it is much easier to move to the tunnel and kill there"

dain aug isn't hard to get and is big bang for your buck due to the avoidance. I personally slotted it in where I previously had a 20ac aug. I’ll try the kith mission and let you know how it goes.

honestly I am not going to bother posting anything else. I may have missed some 1 group stuff, but most of the rest of the stuff takes to much time or is to hard to complete with 1 group in an evening.

Nice little write up there. The Kithicor monster mission is given by a zombie to the right after you zone into Kithicor Forest, from 'a zombie braineater'. The task is called Brraaaaaiinsss... (or something like that). It's pretty entertaining (if you don't like asslings). The augment that drops is 20ac 30hp, but type 7 only , which I found out after doing the mission. It was fun, but would have rather had a type 7,8 augment drop.

I've been doing the Hero's Challenge(Hard) task from Sverag, i've done about 8 or 9 of them hoping to get the aug listed above: Jagged Fragment of Bloody Steel. So far i've only been able to obtain two augs, and . What i'm wondering is does the Jagged Fragment aug drop in this instance? or has it been changed to only two augs since it appears one is for melee and the other is for priests/casters.
