Good day folks,
I am a long time lurker on the forums that has decided to buck that trend and speak amongst his fellow shaman. I am just about to ding 70, have the majority of my spells up through 68 (only one greater rune so far) and have dabbled in the tradeskill foray a bit. Trouble for me is that I haven't been able to commit huge amounts of time to raiding for gear due to RL committments, but I'd like to take my shammy to the next level if I could. One knock against me is finding a reputable guild who does not look down on members who don't raid 4-5 times a week - my current guild pretty much has fallen into the social/friendly type without much in the way of inspiration to forge ahead.
Any suggestions on a next logical step for gear upgrades?
Note: I plan to max out my planar power and choatic potential AA's and hopefully use DoN augs to gain some good focii - Spell haste, Healing, Mana pres. and Ext. Range as a minimum here shortly.
Prayer shawl - partial to the +3 mana regen but the focus is useless at 70.
Vindi Bp - hard to find decent BP that offers regen, decent resists and 100 HP's without hitting raid targets.
Ceramic totem of Xegony - likely my next replacement... would love the Spellsheen Prism from MPG.
Scalechain arms - I know these suck...
Solstice earring - Recently picked up Earring of Oppresion from WoS - but stuck on losing mana regen =/
Any arguments against this gear would be helpful.... I am kinda gagged at looking at all the Magelo's listing Time level (or better) gear and having no way to access it.
