Rit's boots blow; they sit all day comparing themselves to cultural and cry, it's quite emo. Hands too. Helm, on the other hand, does not do this. 8% stun resists is strong, and Spec Alter mod is something like ID3, or the 20th point of FT, for mana pres (actually a little better than those examples, but on the same order of magnitude). Not huge in any observable instance, but does what it does to make you better overall at what you do. Spec Alter mod is technically available on the demi ear, too, but 8% stun resists are pretty much infinitely better than overcap avoid & regen.

Boots also aren't in dire need of replacement, but you'd only give up 1% each spell/dot/stun to gain a focus, resists, ton of ac, and 50hp/mana, by moving to Last Blood. I think both wrists, the hands, and helm are ripe to be upgraded. Arms, too, if you can loot Althea's Cinch Cord for waist. Disease focus is so situational it's not worth keeping around, imo. If you go Last Blood for magic focus, you can skip Vish shield for Devlin's, to get better ac & a detri range focus.

Your range could be replaced with Yar'Lir, but if you're considering tradeskill armor, mana pres is a good focus to put on those, since it's full strength. Also 5% stun resists on Rikki range is good. Still a reasonable change to make, just another thing to factor in.

Brohg, how hard is the cultural stuff and at what point would you recommend starting to work on it? Guild just broke into anguish and I'm a long way down in the DKP, would cultural be a viable alternative gear path for me?
