Ever since the release of SoL i had wanted a Horse. After a few long LONG hours in some dangerous zones for a pvp server (Rathe Mountains / Seb scarabs until they nerfed it) i finally had enough to get a horse that was a little better then my sow. I have never looked back. Some say the drog is better since you dont have a head in your way, but as a troll i am almost always shrunk, so i never see the horse head anyway. I just dont think a troll looks right on a drog, its just not right imo. Thats my 2cp....

Bought a horse first but since i play in first person mode and dont like shrink his head was in my way.. traded him for a ugly drog.

Do tell more about this "clockwork boar " pls.. is it some limited time offer thing or does everyone buying new exp. in store get it ?

I never really had a horse untill i bought a drogmor for my shammy. Having never had a horse before i didn't want to have the dreaded horse head all over my screen. Later i bought a horse for my necro i thought what the heck went out and bought a black steed, man was i suprised too se the "huge horse head" wasn't as huge as i thought it would be (dunno maybe cuz DE's aren't as big). I preffer the good old horse over drogmors since.

Not sure about that new clockwork boar i might as well buy one for the fun factor, have nothing better to spend plant on anyway.

Ya when I got my first horse I was expecting a blob to cover half the screen, but to find out, that the whole head was hidden by my UI hehe. But the Clockwork Boar just sounds too good to pass up lol.

Even with my Ornate bridle, I find that horses suck for short distances with there long start and stop time. I ussualy only use horse for Zonewide travel, or if I am in really bad need for mana.

Had the cheapest Drog, couldnt stand the way it moved. Bought the fastest horse and I love it. Only really use mine for travel and th occasioanl med in a tight outdoor area.

If I named my mount I might be tempted to sympathise with the poor nag having to carry me around. Please don't humanize the help, it just makes things awkward.
