take a look at some of the player crafted bazu armor, if you know a smith that can make combines around 260-280 trivial you might be able to outfit yourself in it fairly cheap. I kept the bracer for a while into lvl 70 even due to lack of good bracers out there.
You can always look into buying or earning DoN crystals with your main to spend, I believe there are some augs and gear sold there that is in the late 40's to early 50's required level, but I didnt start buying alot from DoN merchants till I hit 65.
