I have about 30k banked but not sure where to begin with the upgrades or any specific items to look for. Any advice would be appreciated.

You have mana pres, healing, and spell haste. Screw the rest, just go level. Pick up upgrades when they're on the ground in your exp groups, save your plat resources for spells at 60 & 65

There is one item I'd change for your level. One of your wrist items (Chains of the Accused) lacks HP. Yuck. Go to the bazaar and spend a few hundred plat and get hold of a Jaded Palladium Bracelet. They're terribly cheap on my server. You can wear your ODS for quite some time and look at replacing it when you outgrow the effect. Other than that, just concentrate on leveling and save your plat for spells. Get your key for Old Sebilis and Howling Stones if you're up for it, and go enjoy yourself. Veksar is also fun at that level. Gear upgrades will come as you get into DON and DoD content with cursor rewards and such like. Good luck!
