I remember back on the old Crucible we had a thread debating the merits of the shaman only Tacvi spear . For those of you who have the Spear of Doom, do you find the click heal super helpful? I seem to recall it being a 15 minute recast, but Lucy shows it to be 4 minutes (which isn't so bad).

Pros:

* No recast - if it's available, it can be clicked while the spell gems are grayed out
* Can be clicked from inventory
* Cool graphic
* Can be cast on others (unlike a heal potion)
* Only a 2 second cast time (a bit shorter than the spell)
* Makes a good can 5 heal

Cons:

* Extremely long recast (3 minutes after being clicked)
* Only Yoppa's
* Not affected by AAs/focus
* Already have TA equipped and Epic 1.5 in inventory, not much room for this

I had originally put this spear in the "eh" camp, is it great?

I always keep one inventory slot open for clickies e.g AoN, Manastone and this spear.

It's pretty much on the same timer as canni5 so click canni5 <tab> clickiy teh spear <tab> back to target. Heals 1800 which pretty much negates the HP loss of canni5. Its the only thing i use it for and works quite nice.

I already keep two inventory slots open for clicks (Crafted Talisman and Pendant of Malosini, usually, but various other things get subbed in). When I get the Spear of DOOM, I'll be keeping a third. Won't ever equip it, naturally.

There's also this one , apparently drops in the new VP.

Seems like it might be a little easier to get ahold of if your guild can't make Tacvi. Same cast time, and I think it heals a little more too.
