Gear Recommendations

Hi Guys,

Im a serious noob when it comes to shaman gear but am after some gear recommendations for my shambot from you fine folk. At the moment I am just getting his spells up to scratch (currently working on all the OOW 66- 70 rune spells) before heading out to get him killed lots while I learn the class and catch up with his AA's

Any recommendations you can provide gearwise and AA progression wise is muchly appreciated

Upgrade any of the Elaborate Defiant to Elegant Defiant... should be cheap in the bazaar. Hit Riftseekers at the Res/Sum camp for the 70hp ear/finger augs... should be good AAxp for you. Fill out the aug spots that are open should net you several hundred hps. Root/rot the weak con animals in FoS. They'll be yellow to at 78 and good xp... while there you should get a few rotting upgrades. Brass Facade (face from Bonegrinder), Harvestmoon Hoop (ear from Fluttershade), Collar of Tamed (neck from Feral), Drakeshield Buckler (from Oracle), Rod of Dark Rituals (primary from Darkcoil) all rot fairly often on EMarr constantly. They won't be equipable till 80 though. You might get lucky and get a PU group for essences to replace your visable gear at 80. Alternatively, if you get access to VoidB (OGH and Kith being the easiest to do) you can buy visable slots from Zeb... farm chronos with tasks in OGH or FoS... "Food Supplies" in FoS is easy... usually find enough carcasses rotting on animals to complete the task in 10 minutes.
