Okay, so I've decided, since my guild is now clearing Tacvi, to do the tongue quest for the , and will get the fourth tongue that drops from Tunat`Muram Cuu Vauax. No biggie.

Question - has anyone noticed which GoD zones the eight lesser (kyv, mastruq, noc, ratuk, anuek, ikaav, ixxt, ukun) tongues drop from - or don't drop from? I've read 40 - 80 hours farming tongues, and I don't mind that so much, but I'd like to avoid putting my time in a zone where they don't even drop.

I just completed this quest myself. When GoD came out I got all eight of the trash tongues. A few months later it was said the quest was broken so I ended up just destroying them all. It took about two weeks to get them all again, but they are all soloable as it is difficult to get people to go to GoD these days. Ixt, Aneuk and Ikaav will be the most difficult, but don't give up. I had the most luck in Qinimi and KT on the 8 tongues.

It's really not 40-80 hours bad. Only two of us in my guild had the tongues before we beat Tunat, everyone else has done them since. Pull the mobs in & around Temple of the Tri-Fates (ikkinz 3 group trial) to get Ixt and Ikaav, you can get several others there meantime, but you can leave for easier hunting grounds once you have those two. You can fill out the rest of the eight in Qinimi.
