I'd still rather see a beneficial aura that lowers resist rates for the casters rather than a detrimental trap that lowers the resists of the targets. Traps in general appear to be buggy and not very well thought out. The aura's I've encountered thus far all appear useful.

The Aura window is for auras that you are currently "casting". What you see in the bard window (that the caster sees, too) is the effect of the aura, not the aura itself. Aura window for the candle, bard window for the light shining from it.

Believe me, the enchanters appreciate any debuff you can provide on Teir 4 trash. The resist rate on that stuff is gigantically annoying.
