The Spirit Realm

Just wondered if you ever use this spell in a group / and how do you use it (if ever) on a raid. I have been finding most mobs don't need it and die quick enough, but maybe there are some mobs out there that benefit getting hit with this more than others.

It allows magic based nukes and DoTs to do more damage, so, depending on how useful that is to you, there is reason for using it.

But does anyone use it in a group? On a raid, we normally assign a Shaman to cast it, but I can't honestly say I load it for a single group. I also wonder since Mages have this spell if anyone has a Mage assigned to it during raids.

I never use this when I solo, box or group with others.

I will very rarely use it for 'Trophy Soloing' to get every last edge I can against summoning named before they start to summon. For most normal soloing though, the mana it would take to cast it isn't worth it.

Now that it modifies our dots, I use it infinitely more than I did. WRU Rk. III

In groups I only use Malosinise when I am trying to kill a tough name with a couple of friends and need the mob to be as susceptible to debuffs and damage as possible.

On raids I will always try to stick Malosinise on a raid target if there are no mages (they get rkiii WE DONT) because it has great duration ... 20 mins + ext. The duration really seals it for me.

The TBS changes make it even more desirable to me for the same reasons + extra DoT damage.
