Spire AA Reuse Timers linked ?

Found out today about the 3rd Spire AA being broken (and read up on the thread already started here). What concerns me most though is that regardless what Spire you seem use, the other two (assuming you already own them) are "used" along with the one you click, meaning on all 3 the timer starts to run down. Or does that only happen on the current broken 3rd Spire ? I didn't check the first two regarding that yet, probably will have to again and post my findings.
