Third Spire and Ancestral Aid

Question: Is Third Spire MGB'able? And if so, which is better DPS increase 3rd Spire or Ancestral Aid?

If you dig throught the board you can find a couple of 10h-parses done with a ranger on an arena mob on testserver.
That parses show 0 dps gain on meele and about 20 dps from pet-proccs from fabled petweapon with Third Spire active.

I don't know if anyone ever parsed Ancestral Aid dps-whise. I think most see the heal over time as its main ability. I pop it on named fights for the stacking hot, if some dps comes along .. so be it.

I think champion is MGB-able, never tried that. When still raiding we where used to groupbuff champion around. I heared a rumor, that all swarmpets can be hit with an MGB. If I would still raiding I may would check if those rumors are true and may try to organize an MGB-champion for these swarms.

Or just an mgb Haste timed well with mages and necs. Mages servants last 30 to 35 seconds now. For raiding mages they should be good for around 2,5k dps during that time. 60% haste should be good for 1,5k dps for same period. Necs new swarm-spell should be of similar dps, if I remember well a devs post. If the encounter allows to pull all swarms out at same time and you can convince the silkies that you are going to up their parses for 45k damage you might can align them to pull their swarm at same time.

If at same time all the AA-swarms are out, it could be that an mgb-haste will turn out to be the best MGB-dps you can pull out.

Serious? Third spire is crap?

Eff me. I joined a little raiding guild and the Shaman class leader told me to use it on a raid. I didn't have it, so I spent AAs till I got it.

and its crap? That is hilarious!

Luckily, raiding wasn't really for me, so I moved on after about a week. But I started using the dang thing without doing much research or checking, asssuming if a class lead in a raiding guild says it is good, must be. haha! I am so dumb!
