Back on the original topic of the thread:

The type of shaman I am at a raid varies greatly on the fight, but I want to say that there are 2 styles of shaman DPS.

1) Nukes + Dots etc (Direct DPS)

2) Champ, Panther, Epic click, etc (Enhancing DPS)

Its worth saying that these 2 styles are NOT mutually exclusive, meaning you can do both at once. In fact on a raid when I am doing DPS I prefer to do the second option while doing the first when I am not panthering, canni'ing, clicking epic, or spot healing.

An attentive shaman can fullfil MANY rolls in one fight at the same time, ranging from healing, curing, DPS, and debuffs all during the same fight.
