12 dec patch?

i finally get a day off work, wake up early to see what i can get into...and clicking the EQ button on my desktop only says "cannot make a network connection with SOE". my internet is up (obviously), i tried to check EQPlayers.com, but cannot find site, tried eqlive, sonyonline, and a few other soe websites...nothing. I didnt hear anything about a patch today, so is it just me (both machines) or did SOE catch on fire or something?

i managed to patch, but login servers are down. quit EQ and repatched...cannot connect to server, and again eqplayers.com cannot be found

Was thinking the same thing. Finally get a chance to play and can't get on. Went to check web site and it won't load. Glad this site works cuz the Sony stuff doesn't 1/2 the time.

"C:\Program Files\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

From Run will bypass the patcher but the login server still cant connect.

Funnier it says to check network status at:
http://eqlive.station.sony.com/support/ ... status.jsp
And that doesnt load at all.

I can however read the boards and everything but cant even log in to those with a page cant be displayed message to post to ask wtf the problem is.
