Random thoughts - loot all primarily

so, stupid hot tub pump blew a seal, as well as my main floor furnace decided it didn't want to work any more. Didn't get much time to level yesterday, and kind of burned out while chasing these repairs down, so goofed around with a friend....

did I mention he was 3 sheets to the wind,,,, before I showed up??

needless to say, the end inevitable result was a corpse recovery. I heart loot all.


Things I noticed though. - Had to press it a couple of times. Sometimes it just stopped in the midst of looting.

Even so, 2 clicks usually got everything. Had to click 3 times on one. But I am also laggy as hell right now, I suspect due to Eqplaynice being broken. My main computer that I typically run 3 boxes on was lagging to beat the band.... Hopefully eqplaynice will be back up and running soon....

Wasn't just the new zone either that I was laggy in. Old zones were just as bad.


So far, not much exploring in the new zones, other than picking up some spells. Just too laggy...

Did get the 76 mage pet for my mage however.... I think it will be arrested soon for molestation. That thing is a machine of destruction! I think mages finally got some love this expansion.

The lag probably did it. If you wait for just a second or two and let the server populate all of your items on your corpse when you view it, then hit Loot All, it seems to get every item, every time. That wait time will be different for everyone. For me, it's about 2 seconds. If I click Loot All before that 2 seconds, I miss things. If I wait, it works every time. The more laggy you are, the longer you will have to wait.

Exactly what Kneesmasher said - just let the loot box fill up for a couple of seconds.

By the way - much love for loot all. I'd buy the whole expansion just for that!

Or just try holding shift and right clicking your corpse. My corpse was looted almost instantly, it was actually pretty cool to watch.

Does anyone know if Loot All will loot nodrop items off of an NPC corpse without specific confirmations? It would suck if someone ended up looting a nodrop zonewide rare because they didn't check to see the details of each and every drop before looting. Or even worse, someone hits it on a raid mob and ends up cleaning it up by accident.

I just have to say that Loot All flat OWNZ!. It has really and truly removed some of the tedium of the game. Since I two-box regularly, it's a godsend.

Last night my guild tried a new SoF mob for the first time. We wiped, of course, but made 4 good runs at him, learning more about the event each time. Even with all those wipes, you just take your Rez, 2 clicks...and you're back in business medding up.

It is one of the best improvements we've had in a long time in game.
