4000 AC on a warrior on a paladin on a ranger on a monk and on a enchanter all mean differnt things.

There is much more to yoru mitgation then just yoru displayed AC and your Shielding.

PRIOR to SOF if those 5 classes all had 4k ac and 35 shielding tehy would mitigate in this order: Warrior > Shadowknight = Paladin >> monk > Ranger > Enchanter. The >> between knights and monks was meant to show there was a large gap there.

Now with SOF the mitigation would look something like Warrior > Shadowknight = Paladin > Ranger > Monk >> Enchanter. Monks are still the same distance behind knights and rangers have moved up to about halfway between monks and knights.

The AC returns over cap effect tanking more then Raw AC.


Note before some peopel quibble about warrior > knight I am making the assumption that either warriros is using sword and board teh same as knight or knight is using 2h and war is either dual wielding or usign 2h. Shields DO effect the equation if one class uses them and the other does not.

If your going to quote me, take the whole line or dont take it outta context.

I said 'its not hard to find lose adds when a kite is being done properly.' You can tell instantly which mobs are not picked up on the kite because they will be the only ones not running in the mass. And if you don't see which mobs are not in the kite due to a spread out raid or large playing field, then no spell is going to help you no matter what it is.


I've never done the stitch fight, but how many of the mobs do you off tank at once and how much do they hit for?


So instead of getting a stun that will give us agro+1 to a single mob, your looking to get agro put onto a group heal. Will that agro be put against all mobs within a certain radius of you or of your group members? Isnt just an innate hate amount going against what you've been asking for all along? They would have to put some kinda stun or recourse effect to it so to transfer the hate to mobs within the range of the heals and eventhen, you still gotta spam heal until you get to the top of the agro list.
