The Shade is a relativly simple aug event. Surrounding the shade are 7 disciples that walk in a circle. They are untargetable and each carry a different aura debuff, a 3k dot, a spell/melee slow, a snare, a blind, a 3500 dot, a resist debuff, and a root. Luckily the range of this mirad of effects is only 50. When engage is call, hug the shade and stay as close as you can to avoid the disciples auras. Veldyn also has an array of spells (short fear, a shadowstep, a root, a dd, etc), but not as bad as the disciples. Play through the pain and burn it down.

When defeated, a chest spawns. Loot is available here.
