How many people still load a Malo in their spell gems vs. going with the (lower) AA malosenete debuff?
Since I mainly am root-rotting /w my froggie merc, I prefer another DoT to loading a better malo debuff.
Discuss.

The upgraded debuff is definitely not worth a spell slot while soloing. Spell-based debuffing is almost totally for raiding imo.

spell malo line adds 10% to poison and disease dots

Nnnnnope. Magic-type damage only is boosted. Note line 9 here : http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.html?id=29278 Hoodoo & co. are boosted, but no poisons or diseases or colds.
