Seeking Face slot advice

I've gone through the various posts and the Advice page and Samanna's and I'm currently stuck trying to find a new face slot.

Last night I was able to upgrade my worst slot (bracer) with the Wristguard of Chaotic Essence (replaced Clay Bracers of the Golem from PoEarth).

My 2 worst slots (based on hp) are shield and face. I am saving/waiting for the Vish shield (when we start going after Vish), but am struggling to find a face item that I'd be happy with that my guild is currently (or will be shortly) raiding.

Current targets that my guild actively raid are Anguish, Tacvi, Yar'lir, Shyra (there's others but I'm drawing a blank to them atm and have limited access to boards at work).

Previously I was working towards the mask from the single group fear trial, but now that I have the bracer I don't want to double up on focus effects.

I'm big on resists, focus effects, mods, hp and a little consideration on ac.

I've been toying with the idea of the Xxrec (sp?) mask with the clicky mana pool, but guild has had very few of these drop and clickables are very popular and I'm planning on the anguish boots for buff extensions so the mask focus would quickly become wasted (I realize the clicky would always be helpful) or possibly the mask from Yar'lir (but I rarely nuke and when I do it's more often poison vs cold) so the mask focus again would be limited use.

Magelo is up to date.

Any other ideas on good masks out there? Also, I'm open to suggestions/ideas for other slots as well.

Sounds like you're on the same content we are.

I wear Warped Mask of Animosity (has regen clicky), but I keep Veil of the Inferno bagged and usually use the HP clicky.

I can beg our GL for a night in RSS and you can try to pick up off King. One of my favorite items -- resists are solid and 10% stun resist is sexy. Other than that, Warped Mask of Animosity out of Hate trial in MPG is good and there are a couple Anguish masks I see on Allah's that look tasty.

I enjoy my Xxeric's matted-fur mask a good bit, its just a good item, my guild is just inches away from anguish, and it seems like the focus isn't what you're after...the clicky is nice, when I remember to click it lol, its not that important to me.

if you can get a better HP/Mana/AC mask, I'd go for it instead. as for shield....I had my eye set on RSS Queen shield for ages....but I've kinda let that idea go since we've only had the shield drop once in months of farming....Vish shield is easily the best at that point of the game, the next upgrades post-vish are in the DPoB....Shyra has a nice shield, there is also another nice one from Emporer Draygun.

I disagree about Warped mask being good. I pretty firmly believe that Rit's boots suck. Sum up = go for Xxeric mask, it has it all. Hp/ac/mana, mods, focus, clicky.

Cynin's mask is good, anything with a chunk of stun resists like that is worth considering, but I don't consider it the best at that gear level.

If you want a stopgap, get yourself the Petrified Werewolf Skull. It starts with passable hp/mana, and if you advance it Stun resists and hp/mana develop pretty well. The clicky is pretty much way overpowered and will likely never ever ever go out of fashion.

I really like the Visor of the berserker. Although I see that's what youre currently using, can't beat the ac on it.

Quest for werewolf mask is cool. You do 22 missions which only take a pickup group, in any order and only "eventually", and when you get them done, soon or late, you get your mask. There are interim rewards with the partial clickies, and two of the story arcs you get rewarded with spells! Each mission has item rewards of their own, and usually a chest. And, as if all that wasn't enough, the final reward. The clicky mask itself is Freaking Amazing. The closest analogue for it's effect is on a bracer that drops from Mayong -Freakin'- Mistmoore. That one is 10 less sva, and has a cast time!
