Zajeer is a nice guy, but he's in the unenviable position (well... maybe not unenviable, being paid to do EQ stuff, but difficult anyway) of trying to balance the loots for content difficulty, for overall game inflation, across all classes, and with a restricted assortment of clicky and focus effects... and the spells were still being completely changed around up until four days before release.

Yeah but balancing the loot for content difficulty seems to be a bit off this go round. They may think they made the clicky BP's too powerful but have you looked at the other mision rewards etc. They have high HP and Mana true but look at the stats! A ranger in my guild linked the chain sleeve reward from one last night, amazing HP on it, but +4 str +2 dex (mind you this isn't necessarily exact but I do know for certain one stat had only a +4 and none of them were above par) and stats like that. Considering that to be able to do these missions with the same amount of effort missions in past expansions took you have to be geared better than that...what's the point?

Though I must admit that having seen some links of raid content drops I almost shorted out my keyboard with all the drool.

*edit* Okay I just saw the rough draft of PoR walkthru and the reward items there aren't bad. I am not sure what the chain sleeves he linked were for but he told the guild they dropped from final mob on some mission in devestation. Apparently they aren't the mission reward though.

Right now, the raid content of Prophesy pretty much 100% disincentivises the challenge of any Depths raid past Matriarch Shyra. Mayong Mistmoore himself could camp Theater of Blood for upgrades.

heh they should leave this alone till 2 weeks after the spell quest is put into the game since this is the only way to cast ghost of renewel
