I've been camping the Royals camp in Valdeholm way up north, gotten group Direwild, SL2, any number of int caster spells, a number of Bst spells, Annakul's Mending 2, a few bard songs etc. The Royals camp is the fort WAY up north with mostly yellow con mobs. The static mob on the west side of the main gate is a PH for Gatewatch Urgwit (sp?) who drops a +20 to all stats aug as his common drop and a +100 hp slot 7/8 aug, . A mob a bit further in right at the base of the stairs drops a +15 (iirc) to resists - FR as his common and a +100 mana slot 7/8.

I'd say the drop rate at the Royals camp averages out to around one per hour from the time I've spent there. You can have a couple hours go by with nothing dropping, then get four or five in one hour. Often, two spells drop from the same corpse. Just wish I'd get similar luck to what Bed did on the shm drops, I've not seen many useful shm spells drop there.

when rank 1 spells drop, they are no trade (at leat the ones i got were)

No, I've seen BST spells drop occasionally, as the vendor bought version. shrug.

I have had very good luck in Ashengate west and east, as well as Vald Gatekeeper camp (Royals I think it was called earlier). One night I was in a guild group and we had 9 spells drop in 3 hours in Ashengate west wing, 7 of them were shaman spells and all spells I didnt have yet, was pretty lucky night for me. Its pretty random man, some people in my alliance say that Ashengate grave yard has a good drop rate, they link spells in chat at an alarming rate, So I box a Warrior and bring a Cleric friend along with me, and we dont see a spell drop in 4 hours. The randomness of spell drops is just maddening to me, but what can you do. I am just missing 5 usefull rank 2 spells now, Group Dire, Anhauls Mending, Group Foresight, and Panther, other than that I have all the rest of them.

spell drops are very often doubles. about 1 in 2 of the mobs that drop spells for me are doubles.

spell drops in AG and FC have allways been single ones for me, whereas drops at boneyard camp in DW or Icefall spiders oder at Icefall WizSpire have been double drops at most.
