Spell: Bane - cost and availability

Hey all - quick question on Spell: Bane.

I was wondering if anyone can give me a little info on what I need to get this crafted. didnt help me much - I was wondering if there are any dropped components needed, or if all those items are store bought and it just takes alot of subcombines.

If that's the case, what is the normal fee for a properly leveled researcher to make one? If it varies too much by server I understand.

Hope this isnt too dumb of a question =)

EDIT - I see you need a http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=44600 to make the parchment...looking at the mobs that drop it - ick

is the EQTraders link to the recipe for the spell. Check with your guildies to see who is doing research and how much they would charge you for it. I don't think I spent too much on this one, maybe traded a few other parchments they could use for research for this spell.

I just started back yesterday, so Im still guildless for the time being - but I will look into finding a guild or at least a researcher in the next few days as I get back into the game.

Check in the Bazaar to see what people are charging for this spell, then send some emails to them to see if some sort of deal can be worked out. Can't hurt to try that, as the worst you will hear back is "no".

I only searched around in the bazaar a little last night - mainly for hp item ugrades that were cheap and then for focus items and finally bane - and no copies of bane were up at the time. I'll check some more in the next few days unless I find someone to make it first.

If you don't see anyone selling Bane, look around for people who are selling lots of other spells in the 61-70 range, or, if you're feeling lazy, look for -anyone- selling level 70 spells, because those are really only available via research. Once you've tracked down a couple of likely possibilities, you can either get ahold of a parchment (which should get you a decent discount, especially if the person is still skilling up), or see if they have one of their own (in which case you should expect to pay full bazaar price.).

That said, copies of Bane move for 4-6k on 7th fairly regularly.
