Just cos you don't want it, doesn't mean other people won't use it. It's about travelling too, not just running away from mobs. Not everyone can afford a 100k mount.
And maybe it is eye candy, but there's nothing wrong with that in itself either.

Yeah, but they aren't likely to change anything up for us like that Vork. The best chance we have at an upgrade would probably be a movement buff. Minus normal upgrades to dots/nukes that we get every expansion.

I do care how fast I go. I really like being the first person to the raid zone. Which is why I did this complicated quest, where you grab some friends and go kill this snake mob, and rescue his poor, bored horse (since snakes don't ride horses anyway).
My request: when riding a mount with lev and looking down, how about I actually descend without having to come to a stop first?

I hate horses. I have the cheapest horse, i got it a long time ago. I use it in the rare occasion when im desperate for the extra mana boost. Other than that it sits in collects dust.
Sure its nice to run fast, but really doenst save that much time.

Gotta disagree here Thraal.
I still believe one of the best investments I ever made was in a 100k superhorse. Near-bard speed on demand in outdoor zones is CHOICE.
I even bought a superhorse for my zerker alt, and I'm not the kind that has thousands of plat laying around collecting dust.

I used the ghetto horse at first, but must admit that the super-money horse is well worth it. It was one of my pally friends who bought it for me. He and his holy steed always had to wait for me at the other end of the zone...
