Don't miss the Double XP Weekend!

From around 10:00 a.m. PDT on Friday, May 22nd until around 10:00 a.m. PDT on Tuesday, May 26th, EverQuest adventurers will be surrounded by a magical DOUBLE experience increase. And double XP means 100% extra XP, or 200% XP... Whichever way you want to look at it, that's a lot of XP! Happy adventuring!

Fancy in-game window says it's in honor of Memorial Day weekend.

They also advertise some purchaseable goodies like "Army of Light" augments available thru their online store. Have to check that out someday, as a friend tells me the buyable 25% xp boost potions seem to be helping him much...

The best solution is not either/or, but best-of.
